
SUPER SHORT NOTICE GUN AND BOW AUCTIONLive On-Site Auction
Began: Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM CDT Location: Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, IA DetailsWe have just added a small photo preview of the gun locker in Des Moines and posted an updated sale list with all the info on not quite 600 long guns and over 40 bows. Check out the list and the photo gallery link above. Click here for a sale list. This is the Annual Iowa DNR gun and bow auction. There are over 500 guns and 40 bows so far, plus a small 2 person plastic boat. This will be an all day auction. Food and restrooms will be onsite at the fairgrounds. Look for Beretta, Benelli, Browning, Daisy, New England Arms, Ruger, Remington, Winchester, Savage, Stevens, Springfield, Marlin, Mossberg, Ithaca, Hawthorne plus many more, some military, mostly sporting rifles and shotguns. Terms: No Buyer's Premium. All purchasers of long guns will be required to provide a valid permit to purchase firearms. Furthermore all purchasers will be required to have a state issued ID from that state (driver's license) and will be photographed at auction registration.
Items up for auction will only include firearms and bows, no other equipment will be sold. The items are sold "as is" with no guarantee or warranty. Any person interested in purchasing a firearm at the auction must have either a valid Iowa permit to acquire pistols or revolvers, a federal firearms license, or a professional or non-professional permit to carry concealed weapons. The Iowa permit to acquire can be obtained from a sheriff's office. Allow two to three weeks to receive the permit. Payment must be made on auction day with Cash, Credit Card or Check. All sales are final. Buyer must rely on own visual inspection regarding the usability of items purchased. Auctioneer and staff make no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied. All items sold on "as is where is" basis. Announcements day of sale take precedence over printed material. Once the auctioneer says sold that item becomes yours. Property is open to thorough public inspection. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Auction Solutions, inc. may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Auction Solutions, inc. be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. Firearms must be removed from the site within one half hour after the sale of the firearm is completed. The Iowa DNR reserves the right to reject any bids and withdraw any item from the sale at any time. The sale bill will be updated as inventory list is completed.
